The JIRA Administrator will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the JIRA issue tracking system. They will also be responsible for managing users, groups, and permissions within JIRA. Additionally, the JIRA Administrator will be responsible for developing custom workflows, plugins, and integrations as needed. They will also provide support and training to users as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out complex information systems and/or information technology tasks within commercial cloud environments.
  • Implement and troubleshoot JIRA and Confluence cloud-based systems to protect the integrity and availability of infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the deployment and ongoing support of JIRA services to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Participate in the system and storage design and implements configurations to meet program and customer needs.
  • Provide direct support to JIRA cloud operational environments on a day-today basis including the software installation, configuration, upgrades, security patches and planned maintenance as required.
  • Install or coordinate installation of patches and releases on development, test, pre-production, and production systems.
  • Conduct complex analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating a variety of information technology tools.
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years administering Atlassian Suite Applications.
    • Experience supporting Atlassian tools in an AWS environment.
    • Experience performing Atlassian Installation, upgrades and migrations.
    • Experience with Export/Import of Jira/Confluence Projects.
    • Understand basic database administration, and competency in writing SQL queries.
    • Experience with security, change/configuration management procedures and policies.
